Upon arriving at Arromanches, you will discover a charming village and the remains of the artificial harbour.

The Arromanches seaside resort offers an ideal holiday location 2h30 from Paris, 30 mn from Caen, 10 mn from Bayeux (A 13 and N 13).

Located at the heart of the Beaches of the Unloading, you will be able to go to the principal historic sites of the 2 nd World war.

    Visits:

    The area of Arromanches was chosen by the allies in 1944 to create the port of Winston Churchill in the aim of supplying the troops with weapons and ammunition. Arromanches was the official site for the commemoration of the 60 th anniversary of the liberation. 22 Heads of State came to pay homage to the men who defended our freedom. Many museums, cemeteries, beaches, panoramas, historic sites are places of visit that you can’t miss
